This Privacy Policy describes how Lucen Robotics, Inc. ("Lucen," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit lucenrobotics.com (the "Site"), place a pre-order, or communicate with us.
Information We Collect
- Information you provide: name, email address, shipping and billing address, organization (optional), order details, and the contents of messages you send us.
- Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. Your full card number is provided directly to Stripe and is not stored on our systems. We receive limited information such as the card brand, last four digits, and payment status.
- Automatically collected information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring pages, and similar analytics data, collected via cookies and similar technologies.
How We Use Information
- To process pre-orders, payments, refunds, and shipments, and to provide customer support;
- To send transactional messages about your order (confirmations, shipping-estimate updates, balance invoices);
- To send product news and marketing emails only if you opt in — every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link;
- To operate, analyze, and improve the Site and our products;
- To detect fraud, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations, including export-control and sanctions screening.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who process it on our behalf: payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, website hosting and analytics, and shipping carriers and customs brokers (to deliver your order, including international shipments);
- Professional advisors and authorities where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a corporate transaction such as a financing or acquisition (in which case this Policy continues to apply to your information).
Cookies and Do Not Track
We use cookies and similar technologies for site functionality and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect Site functionality. Our Site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.
Data Retention
We retain order and transaction records as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements, then delete or de-identify them.
Your Choices and Rights
- Marketing: unsubscribe at any time via the link in any marketing email or by contacting us.
- Access, correction, deletion: you may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to records we are required to keep). Contact contact@lucenrobotics.com; we will respond within a reasonable time and verify your request using the email associated with your order.
- EEA/UK visitors: where applicable law provides, you may also have rights to object to or restrict processing and to data portability, and the legal bases for our processing are performance of a contract (orders), legitimate interests (site operation, fraud prevention), consent (marketing), and legal obligation.
International Transfers
We are based in the United States, and your information is processed in the United States and in the countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
Children
The Site and our products are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date, and for material changes we will provide additional notice (such as email to pre-order customers).
